Our Neighbours Ministry is a community-run charity in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, reaching some of the city's most vulnerable people: abandoned babies, children locked out of education, families without a reliable meal, and elderly people living alone with nothing. Every project is run by local people on the ground, in the neighbourhoods where the need is.


Nick and Fi were involved with ONM for decades, supporting their work from afar and directly in-person. Many will know the highlight that is Fi selling the beautiful, handmade jewellery created by a group of women supported by the charity, at various school events and fairs.

Our Neighbours Ministry is a community-run charity in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, reaching some of the city's most vulnerable people: abandoned babies, children locked out of education, families without a reliable meal, and elderly people living alone with nothing. Every project is run by local people on the ground, in the neighbourhoods where the need is.

During COVID, Nick & Fi worked with Merchiston and St Georges to fundraise for ONM with a joint goal; raise as much funds as possible, whilst bringing everyone in the wider school community back together, in a time where that wasn't possible physically. They managed to raise over £28,000 through that campaign, bringing awareness and action to a an extremely small charity.


Both Nick & Fi visited Bulawayo multiple times, helping directly with OMN's projects, shining a spotlight on their work and making a real impact on the community, alongside returning with stories that many will remember fondly from assemblies over the years.
